With a large focus on the adidas ZX 8000’s story-filled collaborative catalog, their mainline releases often find themselves bringing their own themed releases. The next of which to surface is a two-piece pack of Korean beverage-inspired releases, the first of which had appeared — the adidas ZX 8000 “Fresh Mint Tea”
Traditionally called bakha-cha, the oft-drunk beverage shows its inspiration on this release through fresh green hues in the rear-end, with steely greys towards the toe. The former is quite obviously a nod to the freshly-picked leaves from which the tea is treated, whilst cool grey hues at the forefoot, liner, and elsewhere, are a likely nod to pots that hold the brew. There are also hints of yellow at the tongue Trefoil, dubrae, insole, and Torsion system underfoot as a nod to the drink’s yellow-tinted appearance.
This pair is set to arrive alongside an accompanying Strawberry Latte colorway.
