The adidas ZX 8000 Gears up in “Glory Pink”

All sights may be set on the Superstar’s 30th anniversary in 2020, but keen adidas aficionados know that we’ve been treated to a slew of stellar ZX drops, too. The ZX 8000 alone has seen some magnificent releases, including the upcoming atmos G-SNK 3 collaboration and the highly-anticipated “Vapour Pink” — and now you can add another pink pair to the list, this adidas ZX 8000 “Glory Pink”.

Here we find something a little more subdued than the two aforementioned drops, but what it lacks in sheer vibrance is made up for in elegant finishes. A high-sheen blue tine textile upper is kept light thanks to white and sail sole units, and a bevy of white overlays. The latter arrives at the toe, eyelets, and rear in an ultra-plush suede, and is accompanied by the same fabrication in soft pink at the mid panel and across the vamp. A matching pink hue hits the plastic eyelets, before returning one last time underfoot on the exposed Torsion system. Capping off the ultra-clean design is the inclusion of bold Royal Blue branding, as well as heel and toe overlays, all of which are complemented by proximal pops of baby blue, notably at the heel and forefoot.

Sweeping in sometime this Summer, the “Glory Pink” adidas ZX 8000 will be touching down at select Three Stripe stockists and online at adidas.com for $120.
