The Bape x Adidas Dame 9 Collection Releases in August

Adidas and BAPE are at it again, reigniting their partnership with the much-anticipated release of the BAPE x Adidas Dame 9.

Following the notable success of the BAPE x Adidas Dame 4 in 2018, the new installment in Dame Lillard’s signature sneaker line continues to blend cutting-edge performance features with BAPE's renowned streetwear flair.

The BAPE x Adidas Dame 9 showcases a striking design, starting with a vibrant red and black color scheme that demands attention on and off the court. BAPE’s signature camouflage pattern, a long-standing symbol in the streetwear domain, plays a central role in the sneaker’s aesthetic, enveloping the shoe in a bold, graphic print that makes a statement.

Sleek black overlays and elegant golden accents complement the camo and elevate the overall design. The BAPE logo adorns the heel counter, while additional camo detailing across the upper further merges the identities of the two iconic brands.

While this red and black variant has been the focal point of early leaks, a second colorway—now reveled below in black, tan, and red—is also on the way.

The release of the BAPE x Adidas Dame 9 is not just about the sneakers. It will be accompanied by a range of apparel, including a collaborative tee, shorts, a reversible jersey, and socks, all designed to complement the footwear theme.
