Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club was founded on the idea that wealth is of the heart and mind, not the pocket. But if you’re looking for a cheap pair of their NMD collaboration with BBC and adidas, you’re kidding yourself. While notoriously known for their wild graphics and vibrant use of colors, BBC has reverted to something a little simplistic for its latest link-up with adidas and its Icecream sub-brand, honoring their famed Running Dog motif in the process.
The speedy canine can be seen embroidered into the forefeet, split across both shoes in a fairly fuzzy fabrication. Opting for a muted green ribbed base and brown toe and heel anchors, the pair is void of any further saturations; white midsoles and liners, cream rubber outsoles, and black laces provide the remaining color accents. Co-branded heel tabs and insoles arrive to complete the design — and we’re sure there will be some pretty wild packaging, too.
