Kyle Ng and team have been delivering wacky, refreshing products to niche audiences since 2014 through their Brain Dead project. In recent years, the Los Angeles-founded imprint has expanded its horizons with the help of some of the world's biggest footwear brands. Adidas Originals has trusted the label's vision, offering its creatives a freedom not granted by many institutions.
Recently, Brain Dead hosted a showroom and event in Paris to preview its Fall/Winter 2025 collection with the Three Stripes. Ng and Instagram outlet @Le.Syndrome captured the occasion and shared photos of it to social media. Neither clear shots nor backstories to the impending items surfaced with initial-looks, but early images have suggested the brand will continue to draw inspiration from the sport of tennis. The Brain Dead x Adidas Forest Hills capsule, for example, reimagines the old school tennis silhouette in a way only Ng and company could. Accompanying apparel and accessories also tap into the aesthetics of that world.
For the second-half of the year, the West Coast team will launch a number of footwear designs—including the Barricade 13, Taekwondo, and Climacool 2. The partnership is also set to launch the Brody King, a lightweight boot inspired by those worn by professional boxers and wrestlers.
Enjoy first-looks at Brain Dead's FW25 Adidas Originals lineup ahead. All items should see an Adidas.com and select retailer launch between September and November.
