To celebrate their 15th year of service, British retailers END. have linked up with adidas for a commemorative three-piece pack that celebrates three of their bricks and mortar stores across the continent – Newcastle, London and Glasgow – and the famous bridges that lay there.
Focusing on the adidas New York (London), the adidas CLMBA (Newcastle) and the adidas Topanga (Glasgow), the retailer looks to their respective feats of engineering for inspiration. The tri-color version of the New York celebrates the capital and the famous Tower Bridge. It adopts the same claret, royal blue and peacock green seen through the capsule and evokes memories of days spent on the terrace. Teaming textile and suede uppers with a distinctive netting-adorned midsole, it’s finished in typical casual style with gold foil model designation on the sidewall.
The Grainger sneaker – a rebranded CLMBA – commemorates the brick and mortar store on Newcastle’s Grainger Street and the city’s famous bridge: the Tyne. Made from premium white nubuck and accented with a trio of green, navy, and red that appears throughout the collection, it’s a terrace icon that has a true sporting spirit. Underfoot, the silhouette’s famous midsole plugs – altering the density of the cushioning – take on the same color hues and spell out the retailer’s instantly recognizable name. The terrace-favorite Topanga commemorates Glasgow and the city’s Clyde Arc bridge. Covered in premium blue suede and accented with swaths of forest green, it sits on a classic gum rubber sole and has gold foil model designation in true casual style.
All three pairs are available exclusively through END.’s launch system, with raffles closing down on March 14th, with pricing ranging from £85 for the New York and Topanga, and £109 for the CLMBA/Grainger.
