Hebru Brantley Buddies-Up with BBC on the adidas Rivalry Hi for Art Basel

Rising to notoriety after Jay-Z dropped 20 stacks on one of his paintings at Art Basel a few years back, Hebru Brantleyis back in our sights with an all-new collaboration with the Three Stripes on the recently-revived Rivalry Hi. It’s his first mainstream sneaker project since we linked up on the Jordan Melo M11 back in 2015, and this time, he’s really let his creativity shine through.

While the M11 was dressed in his infamous Flyboy characters, it arrived in an almost monochrome palette. This release rekindles his love for bold strokes of primary colors, pairing greens, yellows, blues, and reds, with clean whites and blacks. But while the colors and blocking arrive avant-garde, the material makeup or suede and leather is as classic as the OG. Graphic insoles link in the overall concept — and, although they’re pictured, those Flyboy goggles are not included 😢

If you’re in Miami for Art Basel over the weekend, these are set to drop at the Art Basel adidas x BBC store on Thursday the 5th — if you can’t make it, pairs are already available on StockX for a wild $35k
