High Snobriety x adidas ZX 8000 Arrives April 23rd

To be honest, we’ve lost count of the releases from the epic adidas A-ZX collection, but this next-up pair is certainly a first for the 2020/21 lineage, with the Three Stripes linking up with one of the biggest names in cultural publishing. No, it’s not a HOUSE OF HEAT collaboration, but a High Snobriety x adidas ZX 8000 that joins the sizable series.

In true HS form, the pair arrives in an elevated state, with minimalism and luxury at the forefront of the design. A tonal cream, beige, and bone build is offset only by a medium gum traction beneath, with everything above the sole focusing on slight variations in hue and texture for contrast. Mesh uppers indulge in a traditional beige shade, while it’s smooth leather and fine suede overlays, tongues, and liners shifting between two tones of cream. Rear clips and forefoot/lower lacestay overlays opt for bone — the latter sporting a perforated finish akin to the line’s 10000 model — before reaching the laces and forefoot insert in matching hues. Debossed HS branding on the dubrae and heel add to the elevated aesthetic, as to do the leather-lined cork insoles — wow.
