OG Post 09.26.19 // The buzz around Nigo’s new label HUMAN MADEhas been palpable ever since their debut collaboration with adidasearlier this year on the Solar Glide Hu in blue. It wasn’t too long after that release until we saw his next two-piece pack — essentially the same thing but in red — and, after months of previews, its long-awaited release has finally arrived. Like the previously-previewed white and blue pairs, the red rocks a crisp white upper and black soles, with red replacing the blue hits on the laces and embroidered heart forefoot motifs. In a sea of sneaker complexity, it’s nice to see — and we greatly appreciate — the clean, simplistic nature of the design.
Pairs dropped yesterday — and sold out in record time — at select stockists, but a wider release is set to hit adidas.com on October 5th. Update 10.02.19 adidas has officially unveiled the HUMA MADE x Pharrell Williams collection, and has the release pegged for October 5th, confirming our original report. Pairs are set to arrive exclusively at adidas.com and at select retailers like SNS, with the NMD Hu retailing for $250, and the Solar Hu for $159. They will also be joined by a Tenis Hu at @ $129.has confirmed a release for the pair on October 29th, confirming our initial report.
