Upcoming Human Made x adidas Tokio Solar Collaboration Arrives in Two Debut Colorways

Following on from a few Ice Cream-inspired takes on the Rivalry Low — and some more subtle colorings of some Three Stripe staples — streetwear legend Nigo looks to take his Human Made collaborative partnership with adidas to a brand new silhouette, the adidas Tokio Solar.

Undoubtedly inspired by the original adidas Tokyo runner, the new silhouette not only arrives with a sleeker profile, but there’s also a myriad of noticeable changes. Torsion-loaded BOOST cushioning replaces the retro EVA wedge, while an overall overhaul of the profile shape, shortened collar and rear rise. The Human Made editions of adidas Tokio Solar serve up Nigo’s signature Human Made heart insignia stamped on the heel, but this time arrives void of any textual components. Lettering is left only for the retro-inspired mesh upper to pay tribute to the OG’s brand placement and metallic finish. Elsewhere, you’ll find tweaks to the rear overlays, which are now crossed, lateral forefoot suede overlays, and a midfoot insert that runs from the midfoot to the toe.

The Human Made x adidas Tokio Solar is set to debut in two color options, a neutral and navy, and a striking green and white, both tipped to land in the coming weeks at select adidas stockists and adidas.com for $180 a pop.
