Jonah Hill’s adidas Superstar Arrives July 11th

It’s been a long time coming, but the creative genius of Jonah Hill has finally arrived on an adidas collaboration.

Their partnership was first teased back in 2018, and now the project has finally come to fruition. The Jonah Hill x adidas Superstar is said to be just one half of his debut collection with the Three Stripes, said to be joined by two reworked Samba silhouettes. And while we don’t yet have eyes on the latter, we do have our very first looks at his Superstar, with official images surfacing today.

Hill has honed in on quality construction, with premium leathers the pair’s main focus. A smooth, supple white leather drapes the entire upper, with navy heel overlays arriving with heavy-handed stitching. Profile Three Stripe overlays have been removed in favor of thick, oversized embossed detail, an aesthetic that’s carried over to the ultra-wide set laces and thick eyelet overlays. An aged-look sole unit and Shell Toe arrive in sail — the latter finished in leather as opposed to classic rubber. Tongues and liners also arrive in leather, and the pair is complete with a trio of handwritten-inspired embroidery hits; “Superstar” on the lateral quarter, “JH” on the heel overlay, and a cougar motif on the tongue’s inner.

Pairs of the Jonah Hill x adidas Superstar are expected to release overseas on April 10th for $140 USD, with a Stateside date yet to be confirmed.
