Fresh off its 30th-anniversary celebration of Torsion tech, adidas will be taking their revered lineage into its fourth decade with another trip down memory lane. Across 2021 and 2021, the brand is revisiting its A-ZX concept, a project from 2008-09 that enlisted a wide range of global partners to put their touch of a bevy of 26 lettered ZX releases (see the table below). The reimagined collection for was kicked off last week with the letter R — for retro — with a reissue of the OG ZX 1000C, and having just unveiled the letters B (BAPE & Undefeated), H (Hey Tea) and N (National Parks), it’s now time for the letter J — which designed in partnership with Italian Football powerhouse Juventus F.C.

Here, Juve tackles the classic ZX 6000 and bless the offering with a classic white and black premium leather construction. The color combination, which also happens to be a signature of Juventus, has been seen on adidas footwear offerings since the early days, which, in conjunction with the aforementioned leather build gives these an automatic retro aesthetic. The team’s third kit is incorporated by-way-of a vibrant orange lace set, torsion system, and branded dubrae, with franchise branding gracing the heel and insole. An age-look sail midsole and black rubber outsole complete the vintage aesthetic.

Official looks at the pair have already surfaced, indicating a very close release, though a date is yet to be confirmed by adidas. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release.
