Ninja x adidas ZX 2K BOOST “Time In” Drops Today!

The landscape of sneakers has changed since collaborations first became a thing. What was once exclusive to streetwear labels, footwear partnerships have now extended beyond the realms of sport and fashion, dipping its toes into the markets of music, art, and food. Last year, adidas pushed their partnership into uncharted territory, by kick-starting an ongoing footwear series with Fortnite maven Tyler Blevins, better known as Ninja. Though he has already seen a fair share of releases, his next is arguably one of his best; the Ninja x adidas ZX 2K BOOST “Time In”

Just one of three expected colorways, this cautionary yellow joint is Tyler’s most striking pair yet, with uppers of yellow reaching from toe to tail , the latter capped in Tech Copper rubbers and ultra-shaggy Legacy Gold suede. A hazardous-like aesthetic is achieved through the addition of jet black accents throughout, while clean white midsoles underfoot reduced the pair’s boldness ever so slightly. Completing the design is Ninja’s signature “Time In” slogan on the tongue, and a 3D rubberized Ninja hangtag.
