JENNIE x adidas Originals Lands Sept. 1—Here's What to Expect

BLACKPINK's JENNIE is expected to release her very first adidas Originals collaboration on Wednesday Sept. 1.

The South Korea-born superstar joined the Three Stripes Family in early 2018 as part of a group deal with BLACKPINK. In January 2020, JENNIE featured in the brand's "Change Is a Team Sport" campaign. Years later, she helped Edison Chen's CLOT promote a summer adidas Gazelle Espadrille project, reinforcing her relationship with the sportswear juggernaut and showcasing her influence beyond music.

All of these moves have led to the launch of adidas ORIGINALS by JENNIE, a capsule that likely features lifestyle apparel, accessories, and footwear exclusively for women.

It's probable that JENNIE's debut capsule with the Three Stripes focuses on apparel, but it's also possible that it includes special-edition pairs of the adidas Superstar or Samba Jane—two popular footwear styles.

Based on a teaser video posted by adidas South Korea, the color palette of JENNIE's Originals project will be light blue and navy/black.
