The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Animal” Arrives in Ash Grey on December 1st

Pharrell’s NMD Hu has enjoyed a second wave of popularity over the past year and a half, with a return to regional and event-exclusive releases, alongside a handful of collaborations with BBC, thrusting new life into the silhouette after a brief hiatus from the market. Recently, Skateboard P unveiled something a little out of left-field, with a bright orange animal print effort reminiscent of Fred Flinstone’s iconic get-up (to surprising success.) It now appears that said release will not be a solo effort, with an alternate option readying for release this week: Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Animal Print” in “Ash Grey“

Sporting the same cheetah-like spots, this time, adidas opts to layer them in a completely monochrome proposition. Here, Ash Grey uppers work with black embroidery, light grey liners and caging, and tonal BOOST midsoles. Black rubber outsoles rest underfoot, with charcoal rear panels presenting the pair’s only instance of pigment; mint green.
