Very few collaborations command as much hype as Pharrell Williams x adidas, though his Human Race lineage has seen better days. A big shot in the arm for the partnership arrives here, just days after releasing a hot new track with Jay Z, Pharrell looks to keep the momentum going by releasing a trio of new colorways in support of the Covid-19 friendly 2-day virtual music festival “Transfer” by NTWRK, presenting the NTWRK x Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu.
The trio of eye-catching palettes share only their construction in common, all three are comprised of the lightweight knit uppers with the revolutionary comfortable NMD BOOST sole units at the foundation accompanied by the distinguishable heel cage/ lace system. Firstly, we have a two-tone orange upper complete with Asian characters, blue BOOST midsole, cream outer sole with matching heel cage unit, and grey rope lace with blue flecks to complete the look. Secondly, Blue uppers that feature yellow embroidered “BREATH” and “WALK” for an added touch of inspiration through the current global-climate, orange BOOST sole unit, and blue rope laces for the finishing touch. Last but certainly not least, deep purple upper again complete with Asian characters, white BOOST midsole with brown segments that also adorns the outsole and lace cage unit completed with orange and teal rope laces.
