Pharrell Williams x adidas Superstar Releases July 4th

We knew it was going to be a big year for the Superstar for its 50th birthday bash, but after news broke on Prada, Jonah Hill and Pharrell’s links to the silhouette for 2020, shit started getting serious. But while the Prada partnership kept things classic (and l luxurious, at that), the two creative minds in Hill and Williams age the silhouette.a fair-old reworking. We’ve already seen a handful of looks at Jonah’s pair, but Skateboard P has only given us brief looks at his Superstar so far, dating back to January this year:.

The full-Primeknit pair is as creative as it gets — even incorporating a 3d weave to replicate the iconic Shell Toe. Whilst colorful pops and panels add a deconstructed-patchwork-like aesthetic. Today we have uncovered an official look at the pair — but there’s more. There’s a second, never-before-seen colorway, too, arriving in black. Like the white pair, it too arrives in a myriad of Primeknits, complete with elastane-filled tongues, crochet-like “HUMAN RACE” stitching in the rear, and a slew of colorful overlays on both the profile and medial lines.
