After a sure-fire start to his collaborative adidas contract, things have certainly quieted down for Round Two founder Sean Wotherspoon. But in recent weeks, Wotherspoon has revealed not one, but two new collaborations; an adidas Gazelle earlier this month, and now a new model, the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Orketro

Aligned with the brand’s recent push of new silhouettes through collaborative efforts, Sean also continues his mission of eco-friendliness, as the two parties reconnect on what is likely to be another vegan-friendly release, as well as one chock-full of non-virgin polyesters in a move to help the German giant reach its goal to deliver recycled fibers across its entire range of products by 2024.

Design-wise, the new model is anchored by a sole unit inspired by trainers from the early parts of the century, with mesh uppers following suit. Its overlays, however, look to a half/half split of modern embroidery and retro runners, though it’s hard to pinpoint any specific era. What we can see is that Sean has once again not shied away from color, with pastel pinks, royal blues, teal greens, oranges, and blacks all present, with neutral suedes and aged-look midsoles rounding out the design.

Grab a first teaser look at the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Orketro here below, and expect to learn (and see) more about its release in the coming weeks.
