Sweedish-based Sneakersnstuff has come a hell of a long way in 21 years. From their first little store in Södermalm, Stockholm, to their latest endeavor in Japan they’ve truly worked their way to become a legitimate global leader in boutique sneaker retailing. In today’s fast-paced environment, we always tend to look for the next best thing, what’s coming up next week, but we never really take the time to stop, look back and appreciate just how far we’ve come. That’s exactly what the SNS team are doing here on this collaborative adidas Stadt “Södermalm”, which pays tribute to that first boutique from way-back-when.
Lush grassy green suede is at the forefront of the design, despite the island town being quite sparse in its supply of parklands. The remainder of the sneaker is kept classic and tasteful, with crimpled white leather Three Stripe overlays countering the matching heel piece, timeless gum sole units and adidas’ iconic gold foil detailing. Completing the design are mapped-graphic insoles of the island city, matching prints on the tissue, and special-edition green boxing.
Pairs of the SNS x adidas Stadt “Södermalm” will be exclusively available at SNS on November 23rd via raffle (which you can enter here). Of course, OG customers in Stockholm will get their pairs before everyone else, with an in-store release on Friday, November 22nd at 12:00 noon.
