Song for the Mute Updates the Adizero PR and Taekwondo Mei for Fall 2025
Song for the Mute is readying itself for Paris Fashion Week. And while the Australian label has kept most of its upcoming products under-wraps, it recently took to Instagram to showcase two new projects from its Adidas partnership: A trio of both the Adizero PR and Taekwondo Mei.
The move comes shortly after two pairs of the Superstar 82 surfaced via official photos. Song for the Mute has widely-favored classic designs from the Adidas Originals archive–including the Campus–but it's also reimagined more modern offerings from the Three Stripes Brand. The Adistar Cushion, for example, sits perfectly within the retro runner space. Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty's next runner, however, is firmly rooted in Adidas' modern performance-running lineup, although the impending trio shouldn't be used to churn out kilometers.
The SFTM-006 and SFTM-007 collaborations fall in line with past linkups between both partners. Near-uniform color palettes are deployed across both silhouettes, with one Adizero PR opting for a dark red finish. By contrast, the uber-flat Taekwondo Mei favors understated earth tones that suggest a Fall 2025 release schedule for Song for the Mute's collection. Both silhouettes keep construction true to their performance origins, but Tanaya and Ty's updates breathe new, fashion-forward life into the sneakers in the same way Wales Bonnner and Taqwa Bint Ali have through their respective Adidas collaborations.
Enjoy initial photos of the Song for the Mute x Adidas Originals Fall 2025 collection ahead. The capsule is likely to hit the Australian label's channels before arriving via the Adidas CONFIRMED app by the holidays.
