It's still too early to tell where the partnership between Young Thug's SP5DER and adidas Originals will end up, but what's already certain is that the collaborators aren't wasting time—nor sticking with a formula.
Debuted to the world through an experimental take on the adidas Superstar during its 55th anniversary celebration, the relationship between SP5DER and the Three Stripes is looking to the world of football for its next project. Blending heritage from "the beautiful game" with retro performance running elements, the partners have landed on the Adizero F50 Formotion, a silhouette with clear through-lines to runners of the 2000s, but with an aesthetic that still seems ahead of its time.
A "Silver Metallic/Core Black/Bright Red" color scheme covers the technical design, further playing at the intersection of retro and futuristic ensembles. Nods to Young Thug's SP5DR imprint land on the chunky midsole in addition to the spider-shaped hang-tag that arrives with the shoe. F50 logos appear at the forefoot; Lamine Yamal, the Spanish international and strong proponent of the speed-oriented F50 line, helped unveil the pair ahead of international break. His co-sign helps build energy for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament.
Enjoy early shots of the Adizero F50 Formotion ahead. Pairs are expected to release via adidas.com in June 2026. Pricing should be $190.
