    You can;t mistake the adidas POD.

    A chunky two-piece sole unit with a sock-style upper, it has the the German Sportswear’s fingerprints all over it.

    We’ve seen a few nice colorways from the POD this year, but none of them have such an obscure inspiration.

    Yes, you guessed it from the title. It’s inspired by a traffic warden’s hi-vis uniforms. Don’t ask me why — but the colors work extremely well together. Who’d have thought a saftey-first garment would provide such steez for footwear fanatics?

    The black knit upper with paired black Three Stripes branding provides the base for the accents to really pop. And that they do, with vibrant hits of volt yellow jumping out from the throat to the midsole to the heels. Three embroidered Chinese characters adorn the medial forefoot in white for a little extra sauce. It comes completes with a chunky white midsole, loaded with boost in the rear, and is wrapped in a grey outsole.
