Well, what can we say about Derrick Rose this season that hasn’t been said already? The dude is on fire. The 2011 NBA MVP is well on his way to collection both the Most Improved Player and 6th Man of the Year awards, but it’s his impending selection to the NBA All-Star game that’s officially confirmed his return. We still have a ways to go, with voting closing at 11:59 PM on January 21st, but by polling the second-most All-Star votes among Western Conference guards — behind only the ultra-popular Steph Curry, it’s safe to say that Rose is a lock (and quite possibly an All-Star Captain). It would be his first All-Star Appearance since 2012, the same season he blew out his knees for the first time.
So, with the resurgence in Derrick’s on court performance, and the clear rise in his popularity, we’re expecting his signature adidas line to follow suit. And it’s easy to see how successful the range will be when the Three Stripes drop killer color combos like this. Arriving in a classic back of black, white and gum, it comes spruced up with popping red Three-Stripe branding on the lateral, white forefoot and medial ankle embroidery, and of course, the wild Zebra-like print featured on the midsole.
