adidas will continue their culinary tour around Springfield with a trip to the town’s most convenient convenience stores. Following their insatiable “Krusty Burger” ZX 10000and a nightcap at Flaming Moe’s, the Three Stripes add to their Simpsons collection with an ultra-sweet release: The Simpsons x adidas Superstar “Squishee”

Like the two aforementioned, this special-edition release features thick black banding along the design lines, giving the entire sneaker a 2D-like effect — Joshua Vides style! The multi-color build is inspired in part by the Kwik-E-Mart’s signature green motif, and in part by the frozen delight which is typically served in and orange flavor. To get a recap of both store and Slurpee, adidas has included them at the tongue tag and dubrae respectively. Other flavors are included too, including Pink Lemonade laces and Purple at the midfoot — because y’know, purple’s a fruit. Completing the design is a perfectly-suited jelly rubber sole unit and Shell Toe tinted in a light lime hue.
