Founded in South Korea, Thug Club has been making noise internationally over the last few years thanks to its decorative denim sets, motorcycle-inspired designs, and high-quality production. Co-signs from A$AP Rocky and other fashion figures have also helped, but nothing has gotten the independent imprint as much buzz outside of its home country as its footwear collaborations have. The latest is a multi-piece project with Adidas Originals.
Launched via Thug Store's channels on May 12, the lineup features a number of footwear, apparel, and accessories rooted in co-founders Yeong Min Cho (Thug Min) and Jiyool Kwon's particular vision. While much less "out there" than its collaboration with FILA, Thug Club's capsule for the Three Stripes indulges in an old school aesthetic while speaking to a modern fashion-oriented audience.

Two shell-toe styles are reworked to present sports heritage in a refreshing way. High-quality, textured leather covers the bulk of the sneaker's top-half, with "Collegiate Burgundy" and "Core Black" hues claiming stake across both pairs. Off-white-colored contrast arrives via the profile 3-Stripes, which are accompanied by perforations shaped like Thug Club's star logo. A similar "Crew White" color appears on the exaggerated rubber toe cap and classic sole unit.
The South Korean label's branding lands on the insole and Achilles' heel panel with shimmering "Silver Metallic" finishes.
The motorsports-inspired Adiracer Hi also takes on two different makeovers as part of Thug Club's inaugural capsule with Adidas Originals. The silhouette—which is expected as a low-top as part of an upcoming Bad Bunny collaboration—features a quilted upper in either "Core Black" or "Focus Olive" color schemes. The latter style also enjoys a faux animal hair material across its camo-covered build.
Akin to details found on the Superstars, profile 3-Stripes, branding, hardware on the ankle straps, and other accents opt for shimmering silver finishes that further play into Min and Kwon's work.
Accompanying items include track-inspired jackets, caps, and cross-body bags. Part of the collection was modeled by Japanese mixed martial artist, Yoshihiro Akiyama (also known as Choo Sung-hoon and Sexyama).
Enjoy detailed campaign photography of the debut collection ahead. Some products are still available via Thug Club's international website. It's unlikely a global Adidas.com release takes place, although the brand's channels in South Korea are expected to launch products soon.
