Toy Story x adidas Collection Arrives October 15th

It’s been 25 years since we first encountered Woody, Buzz, and the gang who have blessed almost all of us with some fond childhood memories over the years. Having just wrapped up the film’s fourth installment last year, it has ensured that the next generation will be blessed, too. But while we OGs were limited to staple merchandise like bedsheets, lunchboxes and action figures, today’s little Toy Story fans will be receiving a special gift from adidas who will be delivering a fully fledged footwear capsule for kids.

The six-piece pack is lead by signature hoops stars Dame Lillard and Donovan Mitchell who deliver the dynamic duo of Buzz and Woody respectively. The adidas Dame 7 is crafted to translate the look of everyone’s favorite intergalactic space ranger in Buzz Lightyear by seeing through to clean white mesh uppers coupled with surrounding purple, orange, and green accents to match his suit. For Spida, his D.O.N. Issue #2 is a love letter to Andy’s beloved Woody character, and precisely executes the look and feel of his outfit through denim-inspired uppers, and accents that portray his bandana, sheriff badge, and plaid shirt. Jessie is honored on the NMD which sports her cow-print chaps on the BOOST midsole, and blouse detail at the tongue pull amongst other subtle design and color cues. Toy Story stalwarts Rex and Hamm arrive on the Top Ten and Superstar — both arriving with facial motifs on the heel or tongue, and the pack is completed by the adidas Deep Threat, who’s amalgamation of green and blue uppers play off the extremely comical aliens that live within the walls of Pizza Planet’s arcade claw game — including liners scattered in three-eyed alien prints.
