Tracy McGrady and adidas Launch the First-Ever Girls’ ABCD Camp

adidas brought the ABCD Camp to the girls’ game for the first time this past weekend, hosting some of the country’s top high school prospects in Oakland, California.

The inaugural Girls’ ABCD Camp was led by adidas alongside Tracy McGrady and ABCD Camp founder Sonny Vaccaro, bringing players from leading high school programs together for a weekend centered around basketball, development, and access to some of the biggest names in the women’s game.

Beyond the on-court sessions, players took part in conversations with current and former professionals, including Candace Parker, Aaliyah Edwards, Alysha Clark, Zia Cooke, Janelle Salaün, Elizabeth Williams, Natalie Achonwa, Erica Wheeler, and Olivia Miles.

Parker, who serves as President of adidas Women’s Basketball, was among the group speaking with the next generation of players as adidas continues to build out its presence across women’s hoops.

The Oakland event marks the first time the ABCD Camp has been staged specifically for girls, adding a new chapter to the longstanding basketball platform while giving young players direct access to athletes and figures already shaping the sport.
