Travis Hunter and his Jacksonville Jaguars bested Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth game of the 2025 NFL season. Number 12 stepped onto the gridiron wearing a custom pink pair of the Adidas Adizero Electric+ II U.S. football cleats.
Officially clad in a "Shock Pink/Silver Metallic" color scheme, the pair worn by Hunter forms part of the National Football League's Crucial Catch initiative in partnership with the American Cancer Society. All month long, different players will wear pink-clad gear on-field to raise cancer awareness. The goal is to help "catch" cancer early and save lives in the process.
Hunter also wore an all-pink warm-up before the game against the Chiefs, showing his commitment to Crucial Catch efforts. A number of apparel items dedicated to the initiative are currently available via NFL Shop online and in-store, inviting all to participate in the attempt to detect cancer early.
Other players are expected to step out in pink cleats and with pink gloves and mouth-guards for the remainder of October. It's possible Hunter and his Adidas U.S. Football family continue to ideate on other gear he can wear.
