In celebration of adidas EQT’s 30th anniversary in 2021, the Three Stripes launched the “Life Needs Equipment” campaign, which saw 12 members of the extended adidas family reinterpret some of Peter Moore (of Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk fame) and Robert Strasser’s most important designs fro,m the EQT lineage. Outside of that collection, more models have appeared, including collaborations from Sean Wotherspoon on the EQT Support 93. Now another cooperative effort has appeared on the same silhouette, with the Victorinox x adidas EQT Support 93 flexing an affection for fine Swiss Army Knives.
Founded in 1884, Victorinox knows a thing or two about craftsmanship. So too does their northern neighbors in adidas, who combine for a finely-crafted effort that truly captures the essence of the brand and the outdoor activities in which it promoted its product’s use. Fitted with an abundance of fine details, including an overarching red, black, and grey scheme that matches the company’s iconic colors, topographic-like heel clips and medial caging, and outdoor-ready fast lacing toggle systems, too. All of this rests atop an upper of ballistic mesh that encourages all-terrain wear – and the pair even comes with a removable leather knife holster. All of this comes encased in a special-edition box that highlights the founding location in Ibach (the outsoles do, too), with several additional on-brand hangtags included.
Check out the official photos of the pair here below, and look for the Victorinox x adidas EQT Support 93 to release this Spring for $150. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on when and where to buy this release.
