Wales Bonner x Adidas Fall 2024 Collection Releases October 24

For the past four years, Grace Wales Bonner and Adidas have consistently pushed the boundaries of sneaker design, offering about 20 variations of the iconic Samba. Each release has been a unique expression of Wales Bonner's distinct design ethos, from vibrant all-red editions to extravagant pairs adorned with pony hair and leopard prints and even those punctuated with punk-inspired metal studs. However, the latest drop from this prolific collaboration promises to surpass all that has come before.

Grace Wales Bonner's newest endeavor with Adidas unveils a stunning array of five sneakers, adding fresh vigor to their creative alliance. The collection features two new takes on the Samba — the 'Collegiate Navy' and 'Night Brown' — both showcasing croc-embossed uppers and woven leather tongues set above the classic gum rubber soles that nod to the Samba's original 1940s football heritage.

The collaboration doesn't stop with the Samba. Diving deep into Adidas' rich archives, the duo has resurrected the Samba MN from 2009, introducing it in two new colorways for this release: ‘Silver Metallic’ and ‘St Fade Gold.’ The former dazzles with shiny chrome paneling, while the latter boasts bright yellow overlays, embodying a bold, stand-out aesthetic.

Perhaps the most unexpected yet understated piece in this collection is the debut of the first-ever Superstar in the Wales Bonner x Adidas saga. Clad in 'Wonder White,' this model features croc-like leather and is elegantly finished with the Wales Bonner logo in gold on the lateral sidewall.

Scheduled for release on October 24th, the collection of footwear and apparel will be available at Wales Bonner, Adidas, the Confirmed app, and select global stockists.

The Samba OG will retail for $300 each, the Superstar for $280, and the Samba MN at $250 a pop.
