AMIRI might've begun as passion project to fill a void in the market, but it's become a full-fledged operation outfitting some of the world's most stylish and influential figures over the last decade. The latest cohort to join the brand's select group of personal muses is Spanish football club Barcelona.
Amongst Europe's most decorated sides of all-time, FC Barcelona represents much more than the sport to its millions of fans across the globe. The blue-and-garnet side are synonymous with elegance, skill, and heritage—pillars with which Mike Amiri, founder of the California-based imprint, identifies.
Today, AMIRI and Barça announce a new, five-year partnership that makes the U.S. fashion label the team's official formalwear outfitter. Players like Lamine Yamal and Jules Koundé on the Men's side, and Aitana Bonmatí and Alexia Putellas on the Women's side, will don custom AMIRI designs when not on-the-pitch. The collaboration is a first-of-its-kind for the California brand, further bridging the gap between luxury and sport.
"Soccer and fashion share a spirit, born from passion, precision, and creativity," said Amiri in an official press release. "Each is about mastering your craft and expressing who you are through movement and form. Partnering with FC Barcelona lets AMIRI reflect that same pursuit of excellence through our tailoring. This collaboration with Barça is a celebration, of shared values."

As the club's official formalwear partner, AMIRI will provide numerous suiting and tailored options throughout winter and summer seasons.
The partnership's inaugural collection, which debuts ahead of this week's fixtures, includes six-button wool overcoats, jackets (double-breasted for men, single-breasted for women), and slightly-flared trousers in pinstripe wool. AMIRI has drawn inspiration from Barça's iconic blaugrana color scheme to develop product, ensuring the club's blue-and-garnet tradition is present across formalwear offerings.
For Summer 2026, designs will include a sportswear-infomed blouson and lightweight knits. AMIRI's work for FC Barcelona will feature MA mongram embroidery, players' initials, and club crest in premium, elevated finishes.
