Known for his masterful, one-of-a-kind sneaker creations, The Shoe Surgeon brought his craftsmanship to this signature pair, enhancing the ANTA Kai 1 with personal and striking details that pay homage to Kyrie’s roots and family.
This 1-of-1 custom ANTA Kai 1 showcases a blend of rich colors and intricate materials. Starting with a green mesh base, the upper incorporates jade overlays, delivering a vibrant contrast that’s further elevated by multi-colored accents. A standout feature is the custom lockdown strap, engraved with a unique Kai typeface that spells out the names of Kyrie’s parents, Elizabeth and Dred, adding a heartfelt tribute to the design. Multi-color laces sit just below the strap, connecting to a bold red Kai logo at the top of the tongue.
Beyond its aesthetic elements, the sneaker includes functional details like a gradient foam midsole that fades from navy to green, providing both style and support.
