Kyrie Irving has been intentional since the day he entered a business and creative partnership with ANTA. In one of his earliest moves, the NBA superstar signed his father to a deal with the company. Today, he's showcasing his unshakeable celebration of family with the unveiling of the KAI 2 "Azurie" basketball sneaker.
Inspired by his daughter, the latest take on the ANTA KAI silhouette sees a mostly rose-pink makeover. The choice in color scheme nods to the innocence and soft magic associated with childhood, which Irving sees radiate through Azurie. The ornate performance model also dons a violet-blue flame embroidery, a detail that reflects the spark Irving's daughter provokes that motivates him to grow as an athlete, father, friend, and overall person.
Enjoy detailed shots of the KAI 2 "Azurie" ahead. Pairs are scheduled to launch via ANTA.com, Foot Locker, and DICK'S Sporting Goods on Saturday, Nov. 22, for $125.
