Kyrie Irving is just over a month away from returning to the NBA for the 2026-27 season. During the offseason, the Dallas Mavericks guard has been working on his game and developing new product with his ANTA Family. One such example is the KAI 3 "Alchemist" basketball shoe release.
Inspired by the ancient concept of alchemy, Irving's latest performance-first offering features a green-and-gold color scheme. The "Alchemist" ANTA design further carries out Irving's vision to blend storytelling into high-performing footwear as the colorway speaks to the ability to create better outcomes for others in the same way alchemy is the power to transform things into something greater.
On and off-the-court, Irving speaks and acts as a leader, transforming his surroundings for the better. His KAI 3's ensemble reflects this ability through narrative-driven symbols: shades of forest green represent Earth, while gold accents and tribal-inspired details reference wisdom and hidden power. The latest ANTA Basketball pair, then, reminds wearers of their ability to turn challenges into strength, and in turn, the impetus for change.
Enjoy product shots of the “Alchemist” KAI 3 ahead. Pairs release via ANTA.com, DICK'S Sporting Goods, and other select shops on Saturday, Sept. 12, for $135.
