As we come to a close on its 30th anniversary year, it feels like the ASICS GEL-Lyte III is cramming in as much as it can before the calendar year is through. With four new options that have landed on ASICS Australia today — and not to mention Ronnie Fieg’s THIRTY-piece pack of GL3s over Thanksgiving — it’s pretty evident that we’re seeing the remnants of a COVID-delayed 2020 filling up the back end of the year. One of the aforementioned four that have recently become available Down Under is this ASICS GEL-Lyte IIII “Misty Pine” which arrived alongside an accompanying suede-clad, identically-blocked “Wood Crepe” today.

Here, perforated uppers of fine suede arrive in two tones, with light grey-green at the toe, and mid panels that match the bulk of the shoe’s overlays. Said overlays arrive in a mossy green from toe to tail, over the tongue, and at the collar, while Seafoam green provide the pair’s biggest pop at the tiger stripe, heel, and toe. Sail sole units reflect the liner and laces above, and the pair is complete with green embroidery at the ankle, and a set of Misty Pine-colored insoles.

Though already available from ASICS AU, those of you Stateside will have to wait a few more days, with pairs likely touching down on ASICS US this month, with whispers of a drop this week on December 10th.
