ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Edible Moss” is Pure Elegance

From muddled Patch Work pairs to paisley and silk-quilted pairs, the ASICS GEL-LYTE III has recently been testing a few new tricks. Despite this, the GEL-Lyte III is often at its best when it goes back to basics — and this new “Edible Moss” colorway is an exemplar of that.

Proffering perforated white suede uppers, the pair is primed for pop; the overlays of muted green suede lend to this, too, enabling the dark jade green of the leather Tiger Stripes, rear clips, and outsole to figuratively jump off the pair. Sail laces and midsoles buy into the in-vogue aged aesthetic, while a vivid pop of green at the aglets and tongue characters serve as a contradiction to the otherwise muted theme.

Pairs have all sold out via KITH, but are expected to hit regional ASICS.com sites later this month.
