While far from a new silhouette, the model got its biggest look to date in 2024 thanks to a high-profile collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT. Since then, the sneaker has quietly expanded its roster of color schemes, which tend to skew towards muted finishes.

A newly-surfaced ensemble doesn't deviate from this trend—indulging in a predominantly white tone across its upper—but it introduces non-standard ribbon laces to its catalog. The design choice appears after the popular ASICS GT-2160 has emerged as a sneaker sandal, demonstrating the brand's willingness to experiment. The GEL-NUNOBIKI isn't as bold as its kin, but still delivers a refreshing, on-trend aesthetic sure to pique the interest of those tapped in to the balletcore look.
