The ASICS GEL-SEKIRAN™ Readies for Summer 2025 in Vibrant Makeovers

Although ASICS has found success in retroing some of its most beloved running models from the last 20 years, the brand has also looked to its archive to borrow design cues for all-new silhouettes. Case in point?: The GEL-SEKIRAN™.

Launched earlier in the year, the model breathes new life into a variety of elements from the Japanese institution's expansive performance running roster. The busy, simultaneously retro and futuristic upper references designs from both the GEL-NIMBUS® and GEL-CUMULUS® franchises. As with so many other ASICS proposals, synthetic overlays across the top-half indulge in "Silver" finishes, aligning with current trends in sneakers. Hits of orange-and-red, as well as shades of green, claim real estate across two newly-surfaced pairs of the GEL-SEKIRAN™ hybrid.

Underfoot, the breathable silhouette dons tooling from the GEL-CUMULUS™ 17, a neutral running shoe from 2015. Lightweight foam, GEL™ inserts, and stability shanks come together to offer a comfortable, reliable ride.
