Ronnie Fieg and ASICS Celebrate Decade-Long Partnership with “Super Blue” GEL-Lyte 3 Collection

Forget Travis Scott — there is no name bigger in sneaker collaborations than Ronnie Fieg. We’re willing to fight you on that, too. The KITH founder has been at it for over a decade and rose to popularity through his works with ASICS, namely on the GEL-Lyte III. His markings include the famed Salmon Toe, Volcano, Miami, and Mint Leaf, amongst others:

He hit stride in 2015 when a mash-up of all his projects called “Homage” was created to honor the 25th Anniversary milestone of the sneaker — but now the pair are celebrating a milestone of their own: Ronnie’s 10th year in collaboration with ASICS. For the anniversary, Fieg has dressed the GEL-Lyte III and GEL-Lyte 3.1 in a “Super Blue” theme – a nod to his first-ever ASICS collaboration. Both rock-out in ultra hair suedes, and utilize pops of the title color — but vary greatly in aesthetic. The OG keeps things clean and crisp in a mix of bone and white, while the 3.1 goes old school in navy. we’re not sure if these will be released as a set or individually, but being Fieg’s work, you can expect an entire clothing capsule to be alongside the release, which is taking place as part of next week’s Kith Monday Program, October 7th, right here on KITH.com
