Ronnie Fieg’s ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Tokyo Trio” Collection Releases July 27th

Since 2007, there’s only been one year in which Ronnie Fieg hasn’t released an ASICS Gel-Lyte III. And for Fieg, that’s a stat that’s bothering. He promises to do his best to make up for that blemish in 2020, and — given a first look at his latest “Tokyo Trio Gel-Lyte III collab — we should probably forgive him for it.

Fieg’s longstanding partnership with the brand comes full-circle with this three-pair pack, one in which reimagines his first-ever collaboration with the brand. The first “252.1” colorway is a modernized, much-needed toned down version of the original as he utilizes a subdued blend of black nubuck, pigskin red at the toe, and hits of gold on the strike logo. Joining the Tokyo Trio is a cherry blossom-inspired “Yoshino Rose” that features a sporty mesh and leather toe and pigskin overlay, and a “Super Gold”, a nod to the now-canceled Tokyo Olympics. All three pairs will release on Monday, July 27th exclusively at KITH.com and at KITH Tokyo, Hirshlifers, Bergdorf Goodman, and Selfridges. Each pair is tagged with a $180 MSRP.

In other collab news, Virgil Abloh has confirmed that the OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 4 “Saikl” will also be releasing in Men’s sizing later this year.
