The Story mfg. x ASICS GEL-Venture 6 Debuts April 13; Global Launch April 18

Since 2013, London-based husband-and-wife duo Story mfg. has been bridging the gap between aesthetics and consciousness. And while the brand has gotten worldwide acclaim, it's taking its biggest step into the spotlight with the help of ASICS, collaborating on two styles of the GEL-Venture 6.

Prepped as part of the family-run imprint's spring collection, the fashion-forward update to the sports-informed footwear design sees a "Reddish Brown" and "Violet Quartz" color palette across the duo. Gingham patterns appear throughout the upper, working in-tandem with a double set of laces for a refreshing take on the budget-friendly model. Glossy panels around the forefoot, along the profiles, and on the tongue add another layer to Story mfg.'s fashionable project.

Story mfg. founders Saeed and Katy Al-Rubeyi keep things tonal across the ASICS' sole units. The design choice allows for the top-half to revel in the spotlight while also falling in line with some of the color palates found in the remainder of their seasonal offerings.

The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. (local time) 19 Hanbury Street. An online drop via storymfg.com will take place on Sunday, April 13.

The collaborative styles will release globally via ASICS.com on Friday, April 18.
