Carhartt WIP is Releasing a Couple of Gore-Tex Chucks
It’s GORE-TEX — You know about GORE-TEX? 😏
Just last year, Carhartt’s lifestyle-focused division, WIP, brought its heavy-duty influence to a collection of Nike icons. And for 2019, they look to continue their partnership with the Beaverton brand, taking on one of the most iconic silhouettes of Nike’s subsidiary Converse, the Chuck 70.
The black and white duo of Chuck 70s arrive with waterproof GORE-TEX uppers, GORE-TEX lateral and heel branding, tonal All-Star logos printed on the medial ankle, and a reflective-branded panel running up each heel. Each pair dons a splash of color surrounding the aforementioned heel panel and on the outsole; orange for the white pair and yellow for the black. Completing the design is a classic chunky white midsole, multiple sets of laces and co-branded insoles.
