“This is one of the most important moments of my life” are the words that KITH founder and collaborative king Ronnie Fieg has used to describe his impending collaboration with Disney.
Ronnie took to the gram over the past couple of days to tease a special edition version of the Converse Chuck 70, along with some tonal and tartan plush Mickey toys, signifying one epic collaborative pack to follow. The Chuck, which arrives in smooth black leather, comes wrapped with classic Mickey Mouse characters from some of his greatest films, including Fantasia and Steam Boat Willie. A solitary red upper eyelet pops off the all-black upper, and a clean sail KITH-branded sole unit completes the design.
Update 11.11.19 // Ronnie and KITH have officially unveiled the fill collection of footwear, which includes two more Chuck 70 options, one dressed up in furry Mickey Mouse duds on a KITH-branded sale sole unit, and a beige canvas pair that depicts classic and modern Mickey faces, utilizing his iconic ears as the lacestays. Further below, you can catch a glimpse of the featured characters in tonal plush toys, and you can expect an accompanying apparel collection in vintage KITH style.
A release date for the Converse x Disney x Kith Collection has been confirmed for November 18th exclusively at KITH, both in-store and online.
