Where to Buy the Alice in Wonderland x Crocs Classic Clogs

Crocs began as an innovative product for a niche problem: slipper boat decks. Over the last 23 years, the Colorado-based company has become a formidable presence in the global footwear space, collaborating with some of the world's most recognizable brands and artists along the way. Disney has been a frequent partner, lending its expansive catalog of titles to a number of comfortable slip-ons. The latest linkup between both institutions brings 1951's Alice in Wonderland to Classic Clog form.

An adaptation of the 1865 novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Disney's animated film has long been considered one of the company's best since its debut 74 years ago. Although a live-action remake enjoyed sizable attention in 2010, the half-century old version continues to be a fan-favorite. Its animation style and colors bring Carroll's words to life in such a way that Johnny Depp and cast's performances couldn't.

For the Crocs Classic Clog collaboration, the teams involved faithfully referenced the vibrancy of the animated film, bringing Alice, Hatter, and the rest of Wonderland's characters to footwear form. Both the story's titular figure and Hatter share the spotlight on one newly-surfaced pair, whereas Alice claims stake on her own Crocs project.

The pair dedicated to Alice features a blue Croslite™ upper accented with a contrasting all-over pattern. Graphics depict the protagonist alongside floral and other symbols seen throughout the Disney film. Heel straps are included in the thematic makeover via a detachable black bow, which references Alice's hair bow. A call out to the movie appears as a "license plate."

Elsewhere, Jibbitz™ charms take the form of the story's White Rabbit and Dinah. Additionally, Alice and the Drink Me-labeled potion she consumes also animate the pair as detachable charms.

By comparison, an accompanying Classic Clog opts for a wackier makeover fitting of any Wonderland-themed project.

An off-white Croslite™ upper sits atop a skewed checkerboard-patterned midsole. The top-half depicts the Queen of Hearts alongside a plethora of anthropomorphic characters. Hatter makes an appearance on the pair, lending his pocket watch as one of the style's numerous charms. Other Jibbitz™ draw inspiration from Cheshire Cat, This Way/That Way signs, and miniature Alice.
