Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball universe has become more than an enjoyable manga since its first publication in 1986. Beloved across the globe, the franchise has gone on to inspire fan fiction, costumes, films, conventions, and products that allow the fictional world to take form in real life. Crocs has helped Toriyama's vision leave the 2-dimensional space, developing special Classic Clog pairs inspired by the manga's characters. Its latest efforts commemorate villains Frieza and Cell.

First seen in Chapter 247 and 360 of Dragon Ball, respectively, Frieza and Cell are two of Toriyama's most iconic antagonists. Known for their abilities to take different forms, both villains wreaked havoc across the universe until Goku and Gohan defeated each respective foe.

Far from the first collaboration between Dragon Ball Z and Crocs, the newly-surfaced pairs take notes from previous releases, bringing their muses' color palettes to the Croslite™ upper and other signature elements. The descendent of Chilled lends its purple armor to the Classic Clog, with a plastic piece around the collar donning a glossy finish. By contrast, the pair dedicated to Dr. Gero's creation includes a spotted green look that recreates the different stages of Cell.

Dragon Ball Z branding appears on the heel strap, while each style includes Jibbitz™ charms shaped as both villains' different forms.

Enjoy official photos of the Frieza and Cell-inspired Classic Clogs below. Pairs are scheduled to release via Crocs.com and FootLocker.com on Wednesday, May 28, in sizing for Adults and Kids.
