Krispy Kreme Presents the Hottest Crocs Classic Clog Collab of the Year

The last handful of years has seen Crocs collaborate with some of the world's most influential brands and franchises. From Disney-owned characters to Nintendo's lovable icons, numerous figures have taken over the popular Classic Clog. Recently, an unexpected partner has joined the growing list of linkups by the Colorado-based expert in comfort: Krispy Kreme.

Known for its hot, delectable glazed doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is countless folks' go-to place to satisfy their sweet tooth. Recent history has seen the North Carolina-headquartered business delve into the world of collaborations, coupling its expertise in doughy goodness with the likes of PAC-MAN, Dolly Parton, and Scooby-Doo. The glazed doughnut-inspired project, however, may outshine them all.

"It’s been so much fun working with Crocs to create what might be the sweetest Classic Clogs yet," shared Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme's chief brand and product officer. "Fans of both of our brands expect the unexpected and this collab certainly is next-level when it comes to that. We can’t wait to see Krispy Kreme x Crocs ‘clog’ social media."

Naturally, the playful collaboration draws inspiration from Krispy Kreme's most celebrated menu item. Bio-circular Croslite™ material across the upper features a glossy golden brown finish that might make wearers and spectators salivate. Right and left clogs boast a sprinkles-covered strawberry and chocolate coating, respectively, further bringing doughnuts to footwear form. Jibbitz™ charms take the shape of Krispy Kreme's signature Hot Now sign, as well as a bitten glazed sweet. More nods to the doughnut shop appear on the footbed and decorated ankle strap.

Enjoy a closer-look at the Krispy Kreme x Classic Clog collaboration ahead. Pairs are scheduled to release via Crocs.com on Tuesday, Aug. 5. A specialty dozen will be available at participating Krispy Kreme locations across the U.S. and Canada for a limited time. Krispy Kreme is offering guests who come into a shop wearing Crocs on Aug. 9 a free Original Glazed Doughnut.
