
Melting Sadness Hops Over to Crocs for Plush Bunny Clog
Melting Sadness has made a name for itself through eccentric, bunny-themed collaborations with Adidas, but for Fall 2025, the Chinese design label is switching gears — and partners — by teaming up with Crocs.
The playful brand, founded by artist Zhang Quan, brings its signature plush aesthetic to the Crocs Classic Clog, transforming the lightweight slip-on into a fully furred-up bunny. Bright blue faux fur covers the entirety of the foam upper, extending into floppy ears, pom-pom tails, and even stitched-on front teeth for extra whimsy. Inside, paw-printed footbeds carry over the theme, while the base tooling receives green splatter accents reminiscent of a grassy burrow. The pair also comes with three Jibbitz charms: a Melting Sadness logo, a flower pot, and a tiny, animated bunny character in motion.
Though it may be a surprising shift away from its usual footwear collaborators, Melting Sadness’ move to Crocs is a logical next-hop — one that keeps the brand’s core language of playfulness and eccentricity intact while tapping into a whole new casualwear audience.
