From sitting near court-side at the NBA Playoffs to vouching for creatives like Nina Chanel Abney, Salehe Bembury stays in the mix. Recently, he unveiled the next iteration of his Crocs Juniper silhouette.
Modeled by Jahlil Nzinga, the impending take on the Crocs Pollex platform's first "traditional" shoe takes on vibrant shades of orange and blue, coupling them with more muted beige and purple tones. The result is a pair that Bembury has dubbed "Apricot."
While not as popular as the Los Angeles-based designer's Pollex Clog, the Juniper silhouette demonstrates Bembury's ability to develop refreshing product rooted in his and his collaborator's heritage. The semi-translucent, rugged outsole dons a spring-friendly shade of purple, with the upper donning bolder, richer hues akin to those seen on other releases.
Enjoy campaign photography of the "Apricot" style ahead. Pairs are scheduled to hit BeASpunge.com on Thursday, May 22, at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST. A wider Crocs.com launch could take place at a later date.
