Englishmen A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard changed the course of history in the 1920s with the development of Winnie-the-Pooh and the magical world of Christopher Robin. The author-illustrator duo have been long gone, but their work has continued to inspire youth across the globe. To celebrate 100 years since Pooh Bear first appeared by name in London's Evening News, Disney has teamed up with Crocs for a multi-pair collection.
Neither party involved has yet to announce the collaboration, but official photos acquired by Elden Monitors reveal at least three styles of the popular Classic Clog commemorating Milne and Shepard's characters. One such pair features an all-over print in a similar art style as that found in Winnie-the-Pooh books and films. Robin's beloved anthropomorphic teddy bear is spotted alongside Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore in a number of playful scenes. The bio-circular Croslite™ upper opts for a cream-colored presentation that allows for every illustration to pop.

Co-branding throughout the slip-on further cements the partnership between Disney and Crocs in history books. The slip-resistant outsole indulges in a "colorless" finish that allows for the top-half to revel in the spotlight.
By comparison, an accompanying Classic Clog honoring Eeyore features elements and a color palette that recreate him. The entirety of the Crocs design favors different shades of blue, save for the muzzle-reminiscent tip of the forefoot. Eeyore's eyes appear near Jibbitz™-ready perforations, coupling with black-colored lines to reproduce his face. Fuzzy components help in the mission by taking on the shape of the stuffed donkey's ears and hair.
Akin to other high-profile collaborations by Crocs, crocodile emblems on the heel strap's hinges are replaced with the gloomy, but lovable character.
A pair of the Classic Platform Clog introduces a bold addition to the festive collection. Dedicated to Pooh, the taller silhouette features a honey-reminiscent makeover across the upper that "drips" onto the platform sole unit. Robin's world-famous bear appears faintly throughout the forefoot, but more prominently via limited edition charms. Felt straps around the heel reference Winnie-the-Pooh's favorite red shirt, while Hunny text around the lower heel area playfully resembles the writing on his pot of golden honey.
Enjoy official photos of the inaugural Winnie-the-Pooh x Crocs collection below. The full extent of the range has yet to be determined, but Disney is likely to share all items honoring Christopher Robin and gang by the time fall rolls around.
The full collection will be available on Crocs.com in sizing for the whole family on Wednesday, May 14.
