Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” Collaboration is (Finally) Coming to an End
The most impactful sneaker collaboration of the decade is coming to an end.
OFF-WHITE’s Virgil Abloh shared a look at his just-released “Black” OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1. In the post, Abloh revealing the reason for his latest string of black/white colorways: “Personally I’m visually obsessed with the combination of black sneaker/white Swoosh white laces,” he wrote, before dropping a low-key bombshell: “Hence every edition of the last ever ’10’ came as such.”
There is of course room for interpretation, but to everyone who’s read it, it’s over.
That’s not to say that OFF-WHITE’s partnership with Nike is over — no way!
“The Ten” silhouettes (even though there’s been about one hundred of them) and their stylings are done and dusted. That is after the next drops, which include the Air Max 90 in black/white and “Desert Ore,” both of which are yet to be confirmed for their rumored January 17th release.
Now that the collection has concluded, we’ve taken a look back and ranked every single Abloh OFF-WHITE x Nike sneaker. You can see the entire list here.
Plus, Virgil has a trio of Waffle Runners in the works for the ladies next year, so hypebeasts, you can pick your heart back up off the floor.
